Another soulful hip hop group from Australia! Paper Plane Project is the creation of Mason Kimber and Nick Bennett. Apparently, the band formed after they had gone to Brazil to scavenge new vinyl. Kimber and Bennett released their first EP "Let it Bang" in 2008 and went on to produce their debut album, "Pacific Connection" in July 2011. Their latest album, "Miles Apart," was released in December 2011.
Paper Plane Project has been described as 'backyard in the summer time' or 'Sunday party in the park' kind of music, and I can see why. Similar to Letherette, I find their tunes perfect for sipping a beverage on the deck and watching the sun set. So, grab a nice pair of headphones and a mojito and give this track a listen.
