Fantastic! It's almost as if Trust and Broadcast collaborated to make this. Love it! This is Phase 7 of Antoine Bédard's Phases Project. Think of it as the slow release of a full album. There are 12 phases, with one phase or track released each month for 2012. This would be Track 7 released in July 2012.
The Phases Project is Bédard's latest release. The last album he had released prior to this was "Going Places" from 2007, so this project is a pretty big deal. What was Bédard up to between 2007 and now? Apparently, he was working as a sound engineer and writing scores to 20 theater productions throughout Canada, among other things. The man is multi-faced and multi-talented. :D
So, I welcome Bédard back with open arms. I'm loving these new tracks! I'll leave you with Phase 5 from the Phases Project. The vibe of this song reminds me so much of Billy Corgan's 2005 album, "Future Embrace." I wonder if it drew samples from the Mina Loy track. They're almost identical! Listen!
