Here's a great track from Florida native, Mike Diaz of Millionyoung. It's from the "Be So True" EP released January 2010. It's the perfect track to veg out to during the sweltering heat of June. I'll most likely play more of Millionyoung's tracks for you guys over the summer. ;P
Diaz released his first album, "Replicants" in Feburary 2011. Prior to that, he released the "Be So True" EP and the "Sunndreamm" EP (Oct. 2009). Diaz's latest release is the "Amenecer" EP (July 2012). It's like Animal Collective and Shpongle had aural sex. Clever yeah? Haha. Check out Track 1 below.
There's a new album in the works that is scheduled for release this year. It's called "Variable" and from what I know about Millionyoung, I'm guessing it's going to be pretty freakin' awesome. You can hear a track from the Variable album called "Lovin" below. Ahh, it's so, so good. I wanna see this band live!
Diaz is only 24 years old and he's on a roll. I can't wait to hear more! I hope you all enjoy these tracks!
