Here's a kick ass drum and bass tune by Lauri Loodma of Loudy. He released his first album, "Lost in the City of Sounds" in January 2007 and released a number of singles and EPs through late 2009.
Originally from Haapsalu, Estonia, Loodma became enamored with drum and bass around the age of 12. Drum and bass production was a pretty done deal after that. According to Loodma, "It’s all about the high speed broken beats and massive filtered bass lines.... Combine these with some atmospheric vibes, catchy melodies and you’ll get the perfect sound."
His latest production is the "Soul Mirror" LP (Nov. 2009). It's a collection of singles released between 2007 and 2009, though I believe one of the tracks on the LP is new. It's called "Thundercloud" and, like the rest of Loodma's beats, it's utterly fantastic. You can listen below!

Loodma doesn't really have an official page, so I have no idea what he is up to nowadays. He does have a Myspace page, though, where you can listen to several tracks from the Soul Mirror EP sans cheesy ninja fighting. Enjoy! :D
