I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the weekend to just freakin' get here already! Haha. Here's a kick ass track that should help the day go by just a little bit faster. It's from Jussi-Pekka Parikka's September 2002 record entitled, "Breeze." The record is aptly named, as this track is incredibly light and chill. You'll definitely want this tune in your ears! Give it a listen!
A native of Finland, Parikka's music is heavily influenced by the things around him. By incorporating the elements of his environment, Parikka creates incredibly fresh and cool electronic beats. Thus, I find that his tracks sometimes make me feel as if I am surrounded by nature. It's beautiful music for brooding. Haha. I tend to go to a far away place when I listen to Parikka's tunes.
Parikka hasn't really put out anything new since 2010. He has been filling his time deejaying and putting out remixes and DJ mixes. His latest release is a remix from May 26, 2013. Listen below!
