Happy Wednesday, folks! Prepare to have your minds blown! I'm totally diggin' this track by Liam McLean of Bristol, England. This track appears on the April 2009 12 inch, "Do It / Psychedelic Runway." The year that this track came out, XLR8R Magazine named McLean the "king of bass music."
McLean has been active in the music scene since the mid-2000s and he has released a number of singles and EPs under the alias, Joker, since 2007. In 2011, McLean released his debut album, "The Vision." Among the many tracks on that album, "Slaugherhouse" is one of the most popular. You can listen to it below. I love the dark, ominous feel of this track. It's contemporaneously hopeful and bleak.
McLean's latest releast is the "Face Off" EP of April 2013. Check out Track B2 below! You'll find the same dark, gritty goodness that has become Joker's hallmark. Excellent track!
For McLean's latest releases, tour dates, etc. check out his Facebook page! His Soundcloud page is updated regularly as well, so check that for downloads. McLean's got some killer remixes up, right now!
