Joshua Michaels and Dwayne Washington
In the early 90's, Joshua Michaels (Iz) and Dwayne Washington (Diz) met and became friends in Chicago. Apparently, they had both earned their nicknames prior to meeting, so it worked out well when they began to make music together as Iz & Diz in 1994. Since then, Michaels and Washington have created numerous deep house hits such as the EP, "Love Vibe" from 2001. I dig this Jimpster remix!
The group's latest release is the "Magnificent" single from 2006. It doesn't appear that they've released anything since then, but they have been busy touring all over the world. Their latest tour, ID20, will kick off in January 2013. The Fred Everything remix of Magnificent is pretty fresh. Check it out!
