Starting the week strong with a banging' deep disco tune from I:Cube of Paris, France. Nicolas Chaix started out in the underground dance scene in Paris in the mid to late 90's. His first release was a remix of Daft Punk's "Around The World" in 1996 which went on to be a hit. Chaix released his first LP, "Picnic Attack" in 1997. The track above appears as #8 on the Picnic Attack LP.
Chaix's latest releases consist of a DJ Mix ("FACT Mix 356"), EP ("Cubo Edits") and album ("'M' Megamix") from 2012. The "M" Megamix album is an eclectic mix of breaks, deep house and electro. Here's track 19 from that album. It's one of my favorites due to its smooth electro feel and retro vibe.
