On this day, last year, I started my music blog! I'm glad I was able to post tracks five days a week (with needed breaks in between) for an entire year. :D In the future, I may need to scale it down to just three days per week or just once per week. We'll see. I'll keep the current schedule going for now! Thanks so much for listening and liking my picks, you guys! Here's to another great year of music!
OK, enough of that. Haha. This week is all about deep house. Getting back to my roots! Super excited about this one! First up, is a track from Nick Moss of Groove Assassin. It's from the "Journeys" EP of February 2010. You're going to like this one. Check it out!
What a massive, massive track. Fantastic deep house with a beautiful jazz component. Originally from Sheffield Steel City in Northern England, Moss has been active in the music scene for over 20 years. He released his first EP in August 2009 and many more EPs and singles followed through 2012. Moss's latest release is the "Spice of Life" EP from July 2013. It's reminscent of 90's jack house. I regard it as a blast from the past with some contemporary twists. You can listen to Track 3 below. :D
