Happy Wednesday, guys! Here's a fun track from GRMLN's debut album, "Explore" (2012). The video is pretty apt, as I consider this track to be surfer/boarding music, much like that of Javelin. It's light, fun and carefree. Perfect for summer road trips and backyard BBQs. You'll want to check this one out! :P
20 year old Yoodoo Park of GRMLN was born in Kyoto, but raised in Southern California. So, I think it's safe to say that his music is heavily influenced by the Cali surf rock scene. Park has got an LP in the works called "Empire," and there's quite a bit of buzz surrounding it. Word on the street is that it will be out in early June 2013. One track from the EP is floating around the webscape. Hehe. Listen below!
As you can see, it's basically got the same vibe as the Explore album. It's super fun and danceable. :D
