This week it's all about indie music! :D My picks are going to be a bit quirky and a little deep, but also really fun. It's going to be an awesome journey! I promise! Today's featured band is the French Horn Rebellion. The track below is the band's hit single from 2010 entitled, "This Moment." Check it out!
The band is comprised of two brothers from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Robert and David Molinari. All of their tracks are so whimsical and hilarious. I think their music is perfect for a lazy summer BBQ. The brothers are pretty new to the music scene, having released their first album, "The Infinite Music Of French Horn Rebellion," in 2010. They're on the fast track to greatness, though, having already done shows with the likes of MGMT and Cut Copy.
The band's latest release is the "Girls" EP from May 2013. It's full of quirky, fun, electro and disco infused indie goodness. You can listen to the full EP below! :D
