Perfect beginning to the week. Dreams West released this track about a year ago on its SoundCloud page. It is unknown whether it has ever appeared on an album. It's super chill and perfect to just zone out to---and we all know that Mondays are pretty much good for only one thing: zoning out. ;D
Apparently, the band, which is spearheaded by James West, is from North Carolina. I have to admit that when I first heard the "Super Gran Turismo" track, I thought Dreams West was a chill wave band from the UK or somewhere in South East Asia. The track just had a foreign feel to it. I was just as surprised to find out that Washed Out, another chill wave band I've been listening to a lot lately, is from Georgia. Super Gran Turismo appears as Track 2 on Dreams West's latest self-titled album of December 2011.
