Born and raised in Brazil, Silva started out as drum and bass DJ Marky Mark in the 90s. After being amazed by Silva's scratching skills at a club in São Paulo, DJ Bryan Gee of England invited Silva to play a gig in London. Not long after this meeting, Silva created quite a name of himself in the UK drum and bass scene. In 1999, he received the "Best New DJ" award; and in September 2000 Silva released his first 12 inch entitled "Tudo." He went on to produce a slew of singles and EPs through 2013.
His latest release is a collaborative EP with Invaderz called "After Midnight/Break The Spell" (Aug. 2013). Check out the second track below! You can easily pick up on Silva's influence. Great tune!
