This is the perfect track for Friday. I mean, it's basically the weekend, already! Hehe. This is a High Contrast remix of Track 2 from the 2009 album entitled "Ready For The Weekend." I don't normally do a lot of vocal drum and bass, but this is a guilty pleasure track. I just had to share it. ;P
Now, this is going to be a little confusing, but Calvin Harris is just an alias. Heh. This drum and bass producer's actual name is Adam Wiles. Why he chose a different first and last name as an alias is beyond me. Haha. For the sake of sanity, I'm just going to refer to the artist as Harris in this bio.
Originally from Dumfries, Scotland, Harris released his first single in 2006 called "Acceptable in the 80's." The album is straight up electro. From there, Harris moved on to drum and bass and pretty much stayed with that genre for many years until 2012. His latest release is "18 Months" (October 2012), a collection of house, synth pop and electro. It's pretty poppy and trendy, IMO. Certainly different.
