It'll be indie all week long! I've got lots of great tracks queued up for you guys. :D First up is a different track from Stephen Wilkinson's 2009 album, "The Apple and the Tooth." If you like Peter, Bjorn & John, The Superimposers, The Beta Band and/or Boards of Canada, you will very likely dig Bibio.
Originally from England, Wilkinson became interested in experimental electronica while in university. He released his first album of abstract and ambient electronica in 2005. From there, he went on to release another six albums and a slew of singles and EPs. Wilkinson derived the alias "Bibio" from the name of a black and red fly that he and his father would use as bait on fishing trips in Wales.
Wilkinson's latest production is the "Silver Wilkinson" album which came out just last week. There aren't many tracks from the new album floating around, but I found Track 5. You can listen below.
