Alright. I'm going to level with you. I was browsing tracks somewhere or another and I discovered this dude purely by chance. So, if he's new to you, just know that he's new to me, too. Hehe. It's a bit of a chore to find anything about this guy on the interwebz, but I do know that the track below is from the "Re-Dubbed" EP. I don't know when it was released, but it's a fantastic track and that's good enough.
Keagan Fowler is Aut Belli. He self-produces electronic music from Orlando, Florida. Fowler classifies his music as Christian/Gospel Electronic. I thought this was a joke at first, but apparently he really means to glorify god with his dubstep tunes. That's totally cool. Confusing, but totally cool.
I always thought that electronic music, while having moments of soul and lending itself to intermittent spirituality and bouts of enlightenment, was nevertheless hedonistic at its core. I think god would hate electronic music and so, that's a good reason to love it. Haha. Anyway, to each his own, as they say. ;P
The track above is totally wicked, though! I think the "Re-Dubbed" EP is the only release from Fowler so far, beyond some aural musings here and there on his SoundCloud page. I'm looking forward to more from him! Fowler has a very modest following on Facebook, if you want to check him out there!
