Love, love, love this band! Their music is so fun! I first heard about them back in 2012 when I was doing research on bands to see at Portland's Music Fest Northwest. Atlas Genius was the first one to be featured on my blog when I started it back in August 2012 and in retrospect, I didn't do a very good job of introducing them to you. I'm sorry about that! I didn't really know much about blogging or what I even wanted to do with my music blog at that time. Anyway, I'll do a short bio for you, now!
This band from Australia consists of Keith Jeffrey, Michael Jeffrey and Darren Sell. The Jeffreys are brothers and there was a third brother in the band originally, but he has since left. The group formed in 2009 and put out their first single, "Trojans," in 2011. It was an explosive debut and they've been riding the waves of popularity ever since. The band released two EPs in 2012 followed by their debut album, "When It Was Now" (Feb. 2013). The track above is the first one on the When It Was Now album.
