Starting off the week with a deep house track from Andrey Djackonda's June 2011 EP, "Lucky Beggar." A native of Moldova, Djackonda began writing songs from an early age. He became interested in electronic music production in 2008 and he's produced some fantastic tracks since then. According to Djackonda, "I think that music is the very link that unites the inner world of a man with the outer space. It comes to help in the moments when words lack… In my tracks I try to reflect emotions, rueful feelings, snatches of pleasure and sorrow, summer cheer and autumn apathy, love and life itself...."
Djackonda's latest release is the "KOA" EP (Feb. 2013). You can listen to snippets of that EP below. It's pretty fantastic. Each track has its own feel, it's own story. This EP will take you places.
To keep up with Djackonda's latest work, check out this SoundCloud and Mixcloud pages. The Mixcloud page is more recently updated. There you'll find some new tracks that are only a couple months old. Enjoy! It'll be deep house all week! Come on back!
