Born and raised in Iceland, Abstrakt Idea started making music at the age of 14. His dream was to play basketball professionally. However, when he was told that he wouldn't be able to play again due to an injury, he decided to focus primarily on music production.
In late 2010, he was contacted by a record label and asked to produce a full instrumental album. The album, "Sincere Sunset," constituted Abstrakt Idea's first official release in January 2011. In April 2011, he released a second album, "Beats, Blunts & Burgers Vol. 1."
Abstrakt Idea's latest production is "Beats, Blunts & Burgers Vol. 2" (October 2012). Unfortunately, there aren't any good releases of individual tracks for me to share. Sorry!
