 Neither of these artists require an introduction, in my humble opinion, but if by some twisted turn of fate you've never heard of either, click here and here. This is one of my all-time favorite drum and bass remixes of a Hatiras track. If this doesn't get you amped for the coming weekend, I don't know what will!  Keeping the upbeat tempo with this fantastic drum and bass remix with a Latin flair from Marco Antônio Silva aka DJ Marky. It is so wonderfully done and an instant favorite. Click here to listen to the original. Born and raised in Brazil, Silva started out as drum and bass DJ Marky Mark in the 90s. After being amazed by Silva's scratching skills at a club in São Paulo, DJ Bryan Gee of England invited Silva to play a gig in London. Not long after this meeting, Silva created quite a name of himself in the UK drum and bass scene. In 1999, he received the "Best New DJ" award; and in September 2000 Silva released his first 12 inch entitled "Tudo." He went on to produce a slew of singles and EPs through 2013. His latest release is a collaborative EP with Invaderz called "After Midnight/Break The Spell" (Aug. 2013). Check out the second track below! You can easily pick up on Silva's influence. Great tune! Silva regularly updates his SoundCloud page, so be sure to check that for his latest releases. He's got a kick ass hour long drum and bass mix from December 29, 2013 that is available for download, among other things!
