Boom! I've just totally blown your mind. Don't even bother trying to pick up the pieces. Just dance. Dance, I said! Dance! Hahaha. <3 I really needed to bring the disco house back, so we're coming full circle with a doozy! This is a wicked disco house tune from LeBatman of Milano, Italy. :D If by some terrible twist of fate, you've never experienced the awesomeness that is LeBatman, you may want to check out my previous blog post about him for a short bio and additional tracks. ^_^

Keeping the latin house train going, today, with a classic tune from Afro Medusa. I don't know why, but I feel like latin house and disco house just go really well together. Hehe. This track is Afro Medusa's debut 1999 single. It'll have you dancing in your seat and angering co-workers guaranteed! Haha ;D The British trio Isabel Fructuoso, Nick Bennett and Patrick Cole make up Afro Medusa. After the release of "Pasilda" in 1999, the group steadily produced singles and EPs through 2009. Fructuoso's official website is now a broken link. Bennett had an active solo career while he was with Afro Medusa. I believe the last thing he produced was an indie rock LP in January 2011. Cole came out with a minimal techno single in 1998, but seemed to have devoted the rest of his career to Afro Medusa. Their final production (as far as I know) is a 12 inch from 2009 called, "Oracle." You can listen to it below! As always, I've got one more track to sign off with this evening so make sure you check back! Enjoy! I'm switching gears a bit and bringing you some house music with latin flavor for today and tomorrow. :D The track above is one of my favorites and it's a wildly popular single from Dimitri Derisiotis and Tom Mandolini from 2000 called, "Brasil Over Zurich." I guarantee you'll love it. Check it out! It seems both Mandolini and Derisiotis produced music through 2005, but then things drop off after that. It's a shame, because these guys are brilliant! There's no official website that I know of, so...yeah. Haha. Enjoy this latin house blast from the past and stay tuned for tomorrow's jam! It'll be worth it!
