I'm taking a couple weeks off for the holidays. I'm contemplating changing the focus of my music blog to include quarterly mixes produced by yours truly. So, there would be four posts each year with a track list and download link. I'm also thinking about posting video on Youtube. We'll see. Anyway, in the interim, enjoy this kick ass tech house mix by Matty Gillespie. I'm really diggin' the track at the 46 minute mark, so make sure you listen for that one! Enjoy! Happy Holidays! I'll see you next year. :D

This is a rad track from Jake Williams' debut album, "The Rex The Dog Show" (2008). It's the perfect way to end this week of tech-house awesomeness. :D Take a bite out of this track's glitchy goodness! Back in 2004, Williams became enamored with the Korg 700S synthesizer. Once he learned the ins and outs of that technology, he set out to create his own music. Shortly thereafter, Williams released his debut techno/electro EPs, "Prototype" (Jan. 2004) and "Frequency" (Aug. 2004). Four more EPs and his debut album followed along with three singles. His latest release is a house/electro/synth-pop EP from March 2013 called "Do You Feel What I Feel." Check out Williams' SoundCloud page to hear some additional tracks! You can follow him on Facebook, too! Enjoy and have a great weekend! :D Throwing in a deep house track with a bit of a tech house vibe from Julien Auger's June 2010 EP, "Burning." This one has a permanent place in my house playlists. It's always good no matter when I listen to it! Click here to learn more about this deep house producer from France. Enjoy! :D |
