GUYS! I don't know why I didn't hear about this until now, but Com Truise came out with a new EP. It's called "Wave 1" (Feb. 2014) and it r0x0r5 my b0x0r5. <3 The track above is number five on the EP and it's perfect. The entire EP is what dreams are made of, really. :D To learn more about this amazing electronic music producer, check out my previous blog post for a short bio and additional tracks.

Starting off this week of indie with Track 6 from Freelance Whale's latest album, "Diluvia." (2012). I discovered these guys earlier in the year and I'm still enamored with their sound. I think you'll like them, too! To learn more about the group and to hear some additional tracks, check out my previous blog post from April. Enjoy and don't go too far. It's going to be a fun week of music! Signing off with an awesome remix of a Tricky Disco track by Plone of Birmingham, England. You can find it on the "WARP 10+3 REMIXES" compilation of October 1999. Give it a listen! It's very cool! Plone started with Mike Bainbridge, Mark Cancellara & Michael Johnston in 1996. The group released their debut EP, "Press A Key," in 1997. This was followed by the "Plock" EP (1998) and their debut album, "For Beginner Piano" (1999). Somewhere along that road, Bainbridge dropped out of the group. Since 1999, Cancellara and Johnston have done some remixes here and there, but from what I understand each member has gone his separate way. It's unfortunate, but hey it happens. Hehe. I love all of their tracks, though, and I highly recommend looking up their discography! Have a great weekend! |
