Signing off with a classic track from the one and only, Joe Bataan. I love the disco flare. Never heard of the King of Latin Soul? Check out my previous blog post about him for a more detailed bio and additional tracks. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Ending the week with a fantastic track from London's Unique 3. It's one of the first tracks the group released in 2000. Unfortunately, as with most 2-step groups, the band hasn't produced anything new since 2002, which is too bad. This track is supremely fresh and infinitely repeatable. Give it a listen! Their latest releases are "It's a Struggle" and "Flavar" from July 2002. They're pretty rare releases, though. If you're crafty and somehow able to find these on the web, let me know! I'm curious as to what they sound like. Anyway, enjoy and happy Friday! Ian L (London) Karl Savimaki (Australia) Here's a kick ass track from Beta & Sav. It's called "Peyton's Bassface/BK3" and it's the first track from the group's latest EP from November 2012. Ian L (Beta) and Karl Savimaki (Sav) both create their own music independently. However, they've come together to create some fantastic breaks, this year. I think you'll love this track as much as I do. Check it out! Ian L is based in London, UK while Karl Savimaki calls Denver, CO home, although he is originally from Australia. Prior to releasing the track above, Ian and Karl put out "Iron Peach/New Life" in July 2012. It's deep, gritty and dark, just like breaks is supposed to be. Give it a listen! Pretty fuggin' great, right? Enjoy and hold on, people! The weekend is almost here! |
