5:00 AM - 9:00 PM
It was early and I had only gotten three hours of sleep before catching a cab to the airport for a flight leaving at 5:15 AM. So, I had to snap these shots very quickly before running out the door. :D I was looking at more than six hours of traveling, so I wanted to be comfortable. I went with the cobalt blue military style Everly cardigan. I also have it in mustard. You can see those pictures here. It's really warm and comfy. I always get chilly on planes, so it came in handy.
The pleated black maxi skirt was perfect, as well. Soft, wispy and non-restrictive. It was like wearing classy pajamas to the airport hehe. :D I donned a vintage camera T-shirt and vintage gold collar necklace (my first collar necklace, so far!) and wore my favorite pair of black boat shoes for additional comfort. The outfit turned out to be the perfect, comfy, all-day ensemble.
Somehow, I managed to fit four days worth of clothes into my camel/chocolate contrast vintage overnight bag. I love that bag. It's really sturdy and it has adjustable straps in three different places.
We got into town around noonish and we were starving, so the first order of business was to check
into our hotel and grab some food. After that, we explored the city a little bit and found a really
kick ass deli and historic arcade! What better way to relax after a great lunch than to
quaff a cold brew (or two or three!) and play classic games? :D
(1) Had lunch at Kenny and Zuke's Deli (that's my fresh tuna pita!);
(2) Consulted a handy map on the way to collect our Music Fest Northwest wristbands;
(3) - (4) Played classic games at Ground Kontrol (lauded as one of the best arcades in the U.S.)
