Hey! Merry XMAS, bros! :D Admittedly, I wore this outfit several days prior to this, but whatever. Haha. ^_^ I thought today would be a good occasion to share since this is colorful and quirky and whatnot.
So, once again, I'm not feeling super duper confident about what I've done here. Magenta, red, yellow and blue seemed like a good idea in my head, but when I finally put the colors together, I was like... o_O O_o Haha. Holy hell, that is bright! Then I went whole hog and added houndstooth pants just to be really annoying. :D I'm sure this outfit bothered a lot of people. The only thing that bothers me, though, is whether the colors really work together. I won't hash it out ad nauseam like I did in my previous post, though. I'll spare you! Haha. I'll just give it some thought and make some notes, later. ^_^
So, these houndstooth pants are really fantastic and I'm super stoked to have them. I got them in a clothing swap and when I received them, they were much too big in the waist. I was pretty devastated, but I saved my pennies and took the pants to a seamstress who I absolutely trust. I asked her if she could make the pants more fitted and high waisted and she did a really amazing job! ^_^
I'm looking forward to wearing these pants in even more annoying ways. Muahahaha. :D The rest of the outfit is remixed. I hadn't worn the braided blue elbow patch sweater in forever, so this outfit offered a wonderful excuse. It was one of my first ever purchases from Oasap. Click here to see how I last wore it. The bright pink coat is something that I wasn't sure about when I first got it, but then it slowly grew on me. It has become one of my favorite coats. Click here to see how I wore it in February of this year.
The red pom pom hat is from my sponsor, Oasap. It's pretty decent considering that it's only $5.90. I really, really wanted a red winter hat and now I finally have my first one. ^_^ I think I will try to get it in other colors. I probably wear my cat hats a bit too often. Hehe. It's nice to have a little variety. Though, I think these hats make my head look like a melon. Or...maybe it's the other way around? Haha. I *do* have a big head. >_< Oh well. So, I haven't opened any gifts, yet. For some reason, I find all kinds of excuses to delay that bit. Haha. I'm weird. Anyway, I hope this post has you in good spirits! I'm looking forward to eating way more than a single person ever should and playing drinking games. :D
Every year, my partner and I have this tradition of watching random episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. We're dorks, you see. Haha. It's one of our favorite shows, though. We must have watched the whole thing like four times through, already. Anyway, we devised a pretty awesome drinking game that we like to play while we watch. *shrug* That is what XMAS means to me: eating lots, drinking tasty bevs, snuggling and being totally lame with someone who loves you. So, here's to being lame! <3
