Everything I said about being angry about the erratic weather and the fact that I found the complete lack of snow irritating..yeah, all that. Well, I take it back. I take it all, back, Gaia. T_T I never should have doubted you. Clearly, I spoke too soon. Feet were placed in mouths. Lessons were learned. Lqtm.
Roosters came to roost. All the things. I'm so sorry. >_< Heh. It snowed for three days straight. On the day these photos were taken, it snowed from morning to night. I had hoped that maybe there would be respite at some point that I could take advantage of, but I wasn't so lucky. So, yeah, there's snow in my face, in my eyes, in all the places. T_T It wasn't a dry snow, either. However, this meant it was warm enough to be outside without a scarf. I didn't even need gloves or the two layers of thermals I had on.
The burgundy sweater dress is not made of thick material. It's more of a light weight Fall/Spring dress, but with the two layers of thermals I wore underneath, I felt super comfortable. :P The dress is the last item I received from my sponsor, Tobi. I'm wearing a Size Medium. A large would have been too baggy. A small would have fit more closely and showed my body shape, but the medium allowed me to layer up and not look like a sausage. ;D I'm 5'9" and the dress completely covers my backside. Yay!
The best thing about the sweater dress, IMO, are the bell sleeves. What a nice little retro touch. <3
Given the temperate weather, there were lots of people out jogging, snow shoeing and just leisurely strolling. I have to admit, I quite enjoyed myself. It's so rare to be able to frolic in the snow without also feeling like your eyeballs are going to freeze and just fall right out. Haha. Normally, I brace myself before stepping out into the frozen tundra, but the whole ordeal turned out to be a real walk in the park.
