I wasn't sure how well received this outfit would be. It's pretty out there. Haha. So, I'm super stoked that it made it to the Chictopia front page! This just encourages me to think even more outside the box! <3
I did some very simple and light layering here. The most important piece of the outfit is my cardigan. It drapes long on the left and right sides and it's short in the front and back. So, I can create some interesting effects with it. It's also long enough to drape one side over my shoulder and thus do a little asymmetrical magic. This is why I've got a cowl neck up top. Better views of the cardigan are below. 
I thought this was a T-shirt challenge? Yeah, I know, bros. No worries! We're getting there! Hehe. I'm just peeling away the layers. :D I had created two different looks with this outfit. As you know, this is my modus operandi. It just comes naturally to me. For the second look, I simply removed the piece of the cardigan that was over my shoulder and voila! Now you can see my awesome Space Invaders tee. :D 
I should also mention the amazing high waisted shorts I thrifted. Without them, the outfit would have been homogeneous in color and probably boring. I think the shorts make my hips look big, but they're comfy so it's cool. Plus, each side pocket is adorned with a little bow. Pretty cute, you guys! ^_^ 
On this day, my partner and I were on our way out. It was just your standard dinner and a movie, except that the movie part occurred at home. So, we hopped in the car to grab a bite right after these shots. :D I keep forgetting to explain where I'm headed in my outfit posts. Hehe. I always dress for an occasion. The worst thing for me is being dressed up with nowhere to go. Honestly, when I don't have anywhere in particular to be, I wear yoga pants and a tank. This is pretty much every weekday. Haha. I guess I could be super stylin' all the time, but I mean who has time for that, really? You gotta take a break at least some time. Maybe, if I were a well-to-do housewife or something...Haha. I dunno. :P Anyway, you guys, these t-shirt challenges have been fierce! It's really a lot harder to make a t-shirt interesting than I thought it would be.
