Ohhh look how cute and girly and happy I am! >_< <3 Yes, I felt quite like a lady in this outfit. ^_^ Pairing the green cape (which I absolutely adore) with the floral zipper dress seemed like a no-brainer. Hehe. It was a really easy decision to make based on the contrasting colors, the combination of which created what I consider to be a quintessentially Spring ensemble. Goodness, that's a mouthful. o_O
I wish I could wear this cape more that just a few times per year. I'm just really picky about how I wear it and of course, it wouldn't be appropriate for Summer and potentially Winter, though I defied this limit by wearing the cape in early March of last year. The lace blouse underneath the dress also made complete sense. I viewed them both as inseparable. They just...belong together, you know? ^_^
It was such a beautiful day when these photos were taken. I remember feeling hot in my wool cape, because it basically absorbed the abundant sunshine. I thought days like these were so far away.
I know that snow is still a likelihood through the end of April, but I can't help that my spirits rise and fall with the temperatures. As you can imagine, on this day, I was so happy I couldn't stop smiling. ^__^
