You guys! I can't believe this.
I entered this contest with the blurriest of photos. The upload tool just did not like me at all when I submitted my entry last month. Yet, somehow, I managed to win First Prize and I was entered as a Grand Prize finalist! This is so amazing!

ps. you should play D3 anyways! You are actually my senpai for playing D1 and D2. I am actually a newbie for diablo and just started at D3. I played until it got repetitious then I started again and now I'm hooked AGAIN. hopefully I'm not consumed once school starts again xD

Thanks! I'm still freaking out. I almost ran into a door, today. Haha. :/ I can't help but feel a resurgence of some not-so-great feelings from my childhood. My mom got taken in by some talent scouts at the mall when I was like 13 or 14. She showed them my picture and they "loved" it and told her that she should take some more photos of me and bring the photos and yours truly to a huge hotel in Houston to be seen by judges from a bunch of different magazines. So, my dad took off work (which was a big thing, because he was our only source of income, so he rarely ever missed a day of work which made me feel super important and special or whatever). We drove a couple hours to get to this big hotel and their were so many other kids with their parents with numbers on...like...I dunno..cattle. That's how it felt in hindsight. I was asked to walk across a stage in front of all of these judges and then shuffled before them in a long line going from right to left. I remember that many of them never even looked at me as I shuffled by. They just stared down at their papers. I knew at that moment that my number wasn't going to be called at the end of the day and sure enough, it wasn't. I remember the drive home was just the worst for me. My parents were super cool about it, but I felt like I let the whole family down. I felt like such a failure. Now all of a sudden, I'm getting all of those old feelings bubbling up. I'm basically on display for the whole nation to judge and it's very likely that I'll be rejected once again. So, I'm trying to be as emotionally distant about all of this as I possibly can, but it's really hard....

Oh and sorry to out you like that..Haha. Attention to detail is kind of a curse for me.

I intend to give D3 a try, once the developers get their act together (i.e. allow single player play without having to connect to the internet and without having to suffer any penalties for not connecting to the internet before playing--like missing achievements. That was a big problem with Heroes of Might and Magic VI.) Haha. Senpai. You're silly. ;P I admit, I did play the sh*t out of D1 and D2. I still have the original game boxes and install discs, too. <3

If you're on STEAM, you should let me know! We should play games sometime!

Yeah, I can't believe it. This is just the first round, though. There will be two more rounds of elimination. Like the Highlander, there can only be one. Haha. So, I'm still really nervous. There are some great contenders in the group! I've got my fingers crossed!
